Self improvement can seem like an overwhelming idea but when you take it one activity at a time it can make a huge difference without being too scary. Which is what I recommend doing with these self improvement ideas! I recommend adding just one at a time into your life in 2022 to work on bettering yourself without wearing yourself out. And in this list of 22 self improvement ideas to do in 2022 there are ideas for everyone no matter what your priorities for improvement are.

It seems obvious that self improvement is important but it is so frequently overlooked. 

To set yourself up for a better future you need to prioritize yourself and your personal improvement. Making a small effort each day to better yourself is how you set yourself up for long time success!

I wish I had started putting effort into self improvement sooner but by focusing on consistent personal improvement I have learned how to constantly improve myself. And it has made the world of a difference in my life!

Idea 1: Read a few chapters from a book daily to improve your mind

Reading a bit every day is one of the best things you can do to continue to learn as an adult and keep your mind sharp. I recommend incorporating at least some non-fiction into your books!

I also recommend grabbing a Kindle and a Kindle unlimited plan so that this actually will be affordable compared to buying new books all the time!

Idea 2: Start making prioritized to do lists.

If you have been around here for a bit then you would know I absolutely swear by the importance of daily to do lists.

But in order to truly be productive and do more daily (which is key to self improvement) you need to take it to the next level and make sure you are prioritizing your daily to do list. This isn’t hard though! Just go through after you make your to do list and number it. Start with 1 and work your way down in order of importance.

Idea 3: Listen to more podcasts

Podcasts are a great way to practice personal improvement. 

You can learn so many new things while also doing daily tasks like commuting to work and folding laundry!

But depending on your job that may need to be more or less times throughout the day! This can really lead to better days which goes hand in hand with improving yourself.

Technology is your friend!

In any situation where you can use technology to help make tasks quicker, easier, and automated that is better.

For example, if you can create email response templates do that. If you can automate certain emails going to certain folders then do that!
