With the beautiful weather, spring time activities, and of course the gorgeous spring fashion it is the perfect opportunity to work on romanticizing your life. Which is why today I am sharing how to romanticize your life during spring 2023!
Ideas that can help you view your life in a romanticized way and help bring out an optimistic and appreciative part of you.

How To Romanticize Your Life During Spring 2023
Ways to romanticize your daily life:
Idea 1: Add positive small moments throughout the day.
Small positive moments can serve as your daily joy and you can incorporate them into your daily routines.
A few examples of this are drinking your morning coffee with a loved one rather than on the way to work, journaling during your before bed routine, listening to a happy podcast during your lunch break, etc.
Those small changes can bring consistent positivity and joy into your days.
Idea 2: Stop concerning yourself with others drama.
If you want to start feeling happier and more positive each day then it is time for you to learn this idea and stop thinking and talking about everyone else’s drama. This is key to romanticizing your life because you will be focusing on those that make you the happiest!
Rather than the ones who bring you down with drama and negativity.
If you find yourself in a social situation where everyone else is gossiping try to steer the conversation into something more positive. Eventually doing this and working on this will start to feel more natural and can have a positive impact on the people around you.
Negative people can create negative feelings in others and positive people can create positive emotions! No need to make someone else’s negative situation and attitude pull you down as well when you are focusing on being more positive. So avoid those people that are negative and cause drama in your life.
Also, another way to avoid drama is to be conscious about the media you consume. Specifically the social media! If you follow a lot of people that share drama and cause drama then try unfollowing them or at least muting them so you don’t see their negative content on your social media feeds.
Idea 3: Create daily routines that you love.
f you know what your morning routine and night time routines look like you are more likely to feel confident that you won’t forget things and that everything will get done. Which leads to less worrying and stressing.
Also, if you have your life in order and positive routines set up then you stay in a better mental state all day!
Here is some ideas for setting up a positive morning routine and some for setting up your perfect night time routine!
Idea 4: Get out of your comfort zone.
Getting out of your comfort zone means a lot more than just traveling to a new place (though travel is important, read about that below).
It means taking on new projects at work. You could start picking up a hobby you have always wanted to try. Or just trying new restaurants and coffee shops.
Making an effort to at least once a month but ideally once a week get out of your comfort zone can be life changing.

Idea 5: Journal.
This activity is wonderful for helping you see through any filters you have up and get a better idea of your true self.
You can either approach journaling with or without prompts. If you are new to journaling and feel a bit uncomfortable with it it is usually best to start with prompts and then start working your way towards journaling without prompts. But prompts or not journaling is a self awareness activity that can really help you with personal growth.

Idea 6: Create playlists for different things.
Making playlists to match different events, moods, etc. is a fantastic way to set the mood and really make your life feel special and movie worthy!
Gradually make playlists that work with the different things you do often. Like your commute, walking the dog, making dinner, etc. so that each of those average daily things will have a curated playlist that matches what you want and makes it feel romanticized.
Idea 7: Take yourself on dates.
Taking yourself on dates that you want to go on is one of the best ways to start living a life that is romanticized.
This can be whatever you truly want to do and will make you feel like your life is out of a movie. Take a walk on the beach, go to a new coffee shop, etc. It’s up to you!
And remember- you don’t need anyone else to take you on dates or go with you. Taking yourself on dates is not only a great way to romanticize your life but also a great way to help you practice regular self love.
Idea 8: Say daily affirmations.
Affirmations are an incredible tool for helping you get into the right mindset to romanticize your daily life.
A few examples of positive affirmations are:
- “I am a confident person”
- “I know that I can achieve my dreams”
- “Today I will not let my mistakes define me”
- “I believe great things are coming for me”
- “I am a kind and caring person”

Idea 9: Practice daily gratitude
Gratitude is an essential thing for having a more positive life and truly romanticizing your life.
It allows you to keep things in perspective and be honest about the positives in your life. Which are so helpful for having more balance in your life.
So if you are lacking that mentality of thankfulness and gratitude then you need to start learning how to! When you are thankful for the things in your life and regularly taking the time to think about your blessings you will feel yourself start to feel more intentional.
One of the best ways to do this is to start doing daily gratitude journaling. This doesn’t have to be a huge time commitment. Just grab a gratitude journal (here’s one that is less than $10) and add it into your night time routine. It should only take about 10 minutes but it can really help you feel more grateful and happier.
Idea 10: Avoid negative people
Is there someone (or multiple people) in your life that cause you constant negativity? That bring down your mood? And step all over your positivity?
Then it’s time to cut those people out of your life. Work on this habit by slowly not allowing them to interfere with your day to day life.
This can be challenging but is so helpful but creating a positive mindset and a more positive life.
Idea 11: Make a vision board.
Vision boards are an activity that I encourage trying because they help you get an idea of your current life while also envisioning your best life.
Taking the time to think about and start to visualize where you want to be in relation to where you are now can really encourage self awareness and help align your mind with what you want from your life.

Idea 12: Consume meaningful content.
What this step means is taking some time to consume content that helps align you with your future path.
Listen to podcasts, read some books, watch some videos all on different topics related to personal growth and topics specific to what you think you want in life. Especially if there is someone you really admire that has content that you can learn from.
