The Ultimate 30 Day Self Love Challenge:

{ To help you practice consistent self love }

Day 1: Make a list of your 10 favorite traits.

The first day of this self love challenge is so important for learning to really love yourself!

Taking a couple minutes to write down a list of your 10 favorite traits about yourself is an amazing way to get you into a self love mindset by thinking about the things you love the most about yourself.

Day 2: Write 5 positive affirmations.

Positive affirmations are a great way to keep positivity and self love on your mind.

So start this day by writing down 5 positive affirmations in a journal or even on the notes app in your phone.

A few examples are:

  • “I am a confident person”
  • “I know that I can achieve my dreams”
  • “Today I will not let my mistakes define me”
  • “I believe great things are coming for me”
  • “I am a kind and caring person”

Day 3: Make a feel good songs playlist.

This day is one of the most fun! Take 30 minutes to make a playlist of your favorite feel good songs.

So that you can use this playlist in the future if you need to pick yourself up. Doing self love activities that help you in the future are great!

Day 4: Make a vision board.

Vision boards are a great way to think about what you want to accomplish and what you can accomplish!

So take an afternoon and think about what you want your life to be like in the next few years for this self love activity.

If you need some inspiration I have a video here making my 2021 digital vision board.

Day 5: Start journaling about your day.

This day is about starting a new self love habit.

Take this day and start to figure out what time of the day and how to incorporate daily journaling into your life.

Reflecting on your days are a great way to stay in touch with your true thoughts and emotions which is an important part of loving yourself- to know what you are genuinely feeling.

Day 6: Pick your most confident outfit and wear it today.

This is a day where you can look through your closet and find your favorite outfit that you feel the most confident in.

Don’t let what others think about you stop you from rocking what you feel the most confident in!

Day 7: Treat yourself to something you have been wanting for awhile.

Next up is one of the most exciting days of this challenge and that is to treat yourself to something you have been wanting.

Of course how big of a thing this will be is very dependent on everyone’s situations but even if it is something small like a Starbucks mug you have been wanting you should treat yourself.

Treating yourself is a physical way you can remind yourself that you are worth loving and treating!

Day 8: Write a list of traits you admire in others.

Writing a list of what you admire in others is a great way for you to think about whether or not you also have those traits. Then you can put some thought into how you can develop those positive traits so you can become the person you want to be!

A big part of loving yourself is to take the time to become who you want to be as well as embracing who you are now.

Day 9: Do a random act of kindness in your community.

There are so many ways you can spread kindness and love! And an amazing way to feel happy is to give back to others.

I have a list of 51 random acts of kindness ideas that you can check out here for some ideas.

Day 10: Read a book about your favorite passion.

The next day of this self love challenge is to make the time to start reading a book about your favorite passion or hobby.

As adults we often push our interests to the back burner so take some time to read about your interests and prioritize things that aren’t necessarily career or self improvement related.

Day 11: Do a social media audit.

This day is so important for your long term self love and happiness.

Take an hour and go through all of the accounts you follow on social media and unfollow anyone who makes you sad, angry, annoyed, etc. You don’t owe anyone a follow on social media.

Day 12: Make a bucket list.

A more fun day is to make a bucket list!

It’s up to you if you want to do a one year or a five year bucket list but either way spend an hour or so making a fun bucket list.

Day 13: Try doing a fun photo shoot.

Taking pictures of yourself is an awesome way to practice self love related to your body.

Taking fun pictures is a great way to embrace how you look in a fun and light hearted way!

Day 14: Clean up your bedroom.

Having a clean bedroom and resting area has a lot of mental and physical benefits.

And part of loving yourself is loving yourself enough to make sure you are getting good rest at night and happy with your sleep/living areas.

Day 15: Pamper yourself with a spa evening.

At the half way mark of this self love challenge is a spa evening.

Commit a few hours of your night to doing whatever your favorite at home spa items are. Things like a bubble bath, painting your nails, doing a face mask, etc!

Day 16: Work on saying no to things.

This is one of the most important days of the self love challenge but it can be overwhelming!

And there is a lot of information. So if you need some tips on learning to say no then head over to this guide of mine.

Day 17: Do something today you have never done before.

Next up is an exhilarating activity- pick something you have never done before and try it.

It could be something as little as cooking a new food item you have been wanting to try or as big as booking a cool vacation!

Day 18: Write down 5 things you are optimistic about.

This is one of my personal favorite days of this self love challenge! Writing down things you are optimistic about is an amazing way to put you into a better mood.

And practicing regular optimism can help you become a more optimistic person even if you aren’t naturally an optimistic person.

Day 19: Do a task that you have been putting off.

Getting a task off your plate that you have been dreading is an amazing way to practice self love.

Helping to remove things from your mind that you are dreading and don’t want to do is a great way to prioritize yourself.

Day 20: Buy yourself flowers or cookies.

Now back to a more fun day!

Go out today and buy yourself flower, cookies, or something else small like this.

Make yourself and your happiness a priority today- almost like you are dating yourself!

Day 21: Make a list of 1 year, 5 year, and 10 year goals.

Goals are a great way to really commit your mind to thinking about what you want and all the amazing things you are going to accomplish in your life.

So sit down for an hour or so and write down some goals. Write down goals for one year, five years, and even ten years from now.

Day 22: Organize your workspace/ study area.

Just like having a clean bedroom is important so is having a clean workspace. Or a clean study space if you are student.

If you need some help with this day of the self love challenge then head over to my how to keep your workspace organized post.

Day 23: Print out some of your favorite pictures and hang them up.

Go through your camera roll on day 23 and find all of your favorite pictures of you.

Then get some of them printed (or print them at home with a device like this) and hang them up! Embrace yourself and your beauty by celebrating yourself!

Day 24: Write a love letter to yourself.

Writing a love letter to yourself is one of the simplest yet most incredible ways to practice self love.

And after you write it I recommend keeping this letter somewhere easily accessible so you can access it in the future for days you need a self love pick me up.

Day 25: Create a morning routine that you love.

Finding a morning routine you love is so important!

For some inspiration for your morning routine you can check out these routines:

Day 26:  Have a one person dance party.

This is definitely the most fun self love activity!

Blare a dance playlist and dance around by yourself. Remember you don’t need anyone else around to dance and have a good time.

Day 27: Make a list of your life accomplishments.

This is a great way to celebrate yourself and your accomplishments.

When you are working towards new goals and dreams it is easy to feel defeated and forget everything you have already accomplished. Which is why it is so helpful to make this list of accomplishments.

Day 28: Find a meditation style that works for you.

The next self love activity is to find a meditation style or just some guided meditations that you really like.

Don’t be afraid to try a couple and don’t get defeated if you don’t like the first ones you try.

Day 29: Do an unsubscribe session.

Just like unfollowing people on social media is important for your mental wellness so is unsubscribing from things.

Go though and unsubscribe from emails, newsletters, stores, app notifications etc.

I talk more about what to unsubscribe from on my digital decluttering video here.

Day 30:  Treat yourself to an evening of things that make you feel special.

The final day of your self love challenge is to commit the whole evening to doing the little things that make you feel special.

What that means for you will be different for everyone but make an effort to do activities and things that make you feel loved and special. But loved from within!
