Planner tools can really make or break your organization system. They can add clutter and confusion or they can help you stay on track and focused. I have personally tried planner tools that have gone both directions and I want to save you from those that don’t work. Which is why today I am sharing these planner tools that can help you quickly get organized!
Before we get into these planner tools I quickly want to share the benefits of using a planner. Because using a planner is the first step to adding planner tools that can help you be truly organized.
Benefits of using a planner:
- The first benefit is that it can help really keep you organized. This is probably the most obvious benefit but it is so important.
- Planners also help you stay focused and on track with your life.
- They can also help you be more productive! Which can overall help you live your best life.
- Using a planner can help you achieve more of your goals by keeping you on track with the smaller, actionable steps.
- The final benefit I want to mention is that using a planner regularly can help give you some mental clarity. Which is such a wonderful benefit of using a planner.
Before we jump into this post I also wanted to share that I do have a video of how I set up my planner that you can watch here. Setting up a planner is easier to learn via video so that should help you with the actual set up!
You will see that all of these tools are from Erin Condren. And that is because they are my favorite company for planners and planner tools. I have tried so many brands over the years and they consistently perform at the top and stay on top of the game. This post is totally not sponsored by them- this is my true opinions on planner tools that can help you get organized.
So let’s jump into talking about these planning tools so you can start getting yourself more organized!

Planner Tools That Can Help You Quickly Get Organized
Planning tools you should consider adding to your planner!
Magnetic Snap Ins
I am a huge fan of magnetic snap ins because you can move them easily week to week without them ripping or wasting paper. Any way I can be more conscious of paper usage while being someone who loves paper planners it is a win!
Here are a few of my favorite magnetic snap ins:
MAGNETIC WEEKLY SCHEDULE DASHBOARD
MAGNETIC HABIT TRACKER DASHBOARD
MAGNETIC PRODUCTIVITY DASHBOARD
(if you like to do time logs then this is a great tool to use!)
Snap In Bookmarks
I greatly prefer either snap in bookmarks or magnetic bookmarks compared to ones that just sit in the planner. Those tend to fall out and therefore can lead to confusion and slow you down when checking your planner. So I really recommend considering switching to a snap in bookmark if you want to be more organized with your planner!
Here are my current favorite snap in bookmarks (also they are all crazy affordable!) :
JUST MY TYPE NEUTRAL MINI SNAP-IN BOOKMARK TRIO
FLOWER POWER MINI SNAP-IN BOOKMARK TRIO
LAYERS MINI SNAP-IN BOOKMARK TRIO
Functional Stickers
If you have been around for awhile you probably already know this but I am very careful about what stickers I add to my planner. I want them to be functional and helpful but of course if they are also cute while being functional that is a total win.
This is a more broad category of planner tools so keep scrolling through them to find what works the best for you and your life.
So these are some of my favorite functional stickers right now:
HEARTS PETITEPLANNER GRATITUDE FUNCTIONAL STICKER PACK DUO
EARTH TONES PETITEPLANNER FUNCTIONAL STICKER PACK DUO
PETITEPLANNER DO IT ALL STICKER PACK
METALLIC HEXAGON STICKER PACK TRIO
COLOR BLOCK EVENT STICKER PACK TRIO
Snap In Dashboards
These are going to be very specific to you. So it’s important to look at different options and think about what dashboard would work the best for you.
Keep in mind what you primarily use your planner for- like work, school, family, etc. Then also think about what you feel like your planner currently doesn’t have that you wish it would.
After you answer those questions you can pick the snap in dashboard that works the best for helping you get more organized.
These are some great options for a snap in dashboard:
SNAP-IN SCHOOL TRACKER DASHBOARD
KALEIDOSCOPE SNAP-IN CHECKLIST DASHBOARD
SNAP-IN PROJECTS AND EXAMS TRACKER DASHBOARD
Sticky pockets
Sticky pockets are the final of the planner tools we are going to talk about today! This is such a great planner tool if you find yourself with a lot of loose items in your planner. Especially business cards or loose notes!
It can really help you keep your planner more organized and collected.
Here are two great options for a sticky pocket:
STYLIZEDSTICKY™ CORNER POCKETS CHERRY BLOSSOM
LARGE CLEAR STICKY CORNER POCKET
