25 Ideas For Celebrating Small Wins

Cheer on your small victories!

Idea 1: Do some self care

Self care is my personal favorite way to celebrate a small win! Here are my favorite self care ideas if you need some ideas and inspiration.

Idea 2: Post it online.

A little tweet, IG story, or Facebook status update to make this small victory public is a great way to celebrate. And encourage others to cheer you on as well as a form of motivation.

Idea 3: Get a treat.

Stop by your favorite bakery and grab a treat. If you are talented at baking you can also bake your own treat!

Idea 4: Order something you have been wanting.

Look at what you have sitting in an online cart and get it for yourself. Rewarding yourself with something you have been wanting is a super fun way to cheer on your small victories.

Idea 5: Jam out to your favorite playlist.

Happy, upbeat music is not only a great mood booster but also a great way to put you into a celebratory mood.

Idea 6: Get dressed up.

Dress for success! Put on a “fancy” outfit and maybe even go out to dinner somewhere nicer for the evening.

Idea 7: Try a restaurant you have been wanting to try.

Look at your accounts (like Yelp and IG) to see what restaurants you have been interested in and treat yourself to a victory meal.

Idea 8: Treat yourself to Starbucks.

This is definitely one of my favorite ways to celebrate a small win! Head to your local Starbucks and get your favorite drink.

Idea 9: Pamper yourself.

Get your nails done, get a massage, or anything else that you like to do for pampering yourself.

Idea 10: Journal about your win.

Grab a journal and write down your thoughts. This is a great way to really reflect on your win and how it will impact your long term goals.

Idea 11: Mark it off on your goal plan.

Hopefully you already have a goal plan (check out this post on re-evaluating goals). But if not then quickly make one and then go ahead and mark this off of your goal plan!

Idea 12: Spend some time on your passion/interests.

Commit a few hours of your day to spending time (without guilt!) on your passion or interest.

Idea 13: Tell a close friend/family member.

Call your bestie, partner, mom, or whoever else and share the good news. This is a great option if you want to share but don’t necessarily want to make it super public.

Idea 14: Watch your favorite movie.

Not your partners or kids favorite movie- this idea is all about celebrating your favorite movie.

Idea 15: Create a vision board.

Vision boards are a great way to ride off the inspiration and motivation boost of a small win! And they can boost your mood as well. If you need some inspo for your vision board then check out my video here!

Idea 16: Write down 10 affirmations.

Affirmations are a great way to cheer yourself on and focus on adding positivity to your day.

Idea 17: Have a little dance party.

Find (or create) a fun playlist with your favorite dancing music and have a little one person dance party to celebrate.

Idea 18: Make a bucket list.

Similar reasoning to the vision board but using this small win as inspiration to build off of and make a bucket list is a great idea.

Idea 19: Go to a happy hour!

If you are 21+ then this is a fun little way to celebrate your small win. You can go with a friend, partner, or make a whole group thing of it to really celebrate!

Idea 20: Make a gratitude list.

Sitting down and making a gratitude list is a great way to calmly celebrate your victory.

Idea 21: Put on your favorite outfit.

Put on your favorite outfit and wear it around! This can be a comfy out all the way to a fancy dress. Whatever your favorite outfit is.

Idea 22: Order takeout for dinner.

Ordering takeout is a very chill but still fun way to have a great evening.

Idea 23: Open/eat/use something you’ve been “waiting for”.

This is going to be very specific to you and your life. But the idea is to use something you have been waiting for. Have a nice bottle of wine that you are saving for a “special occasion”? Pop it open! And celebrate!

Idea 24: Take a fun lunch break.

Spend your lunch break doing something fun! Go shopping, get a nice lunch, or whatever you like.

Idea 25: Buy yourself flowers.

The final idea I want to share is so sweet. You don’t need anyone else to get you flowers! Get yourself your favorite bouquet to celebrate your small win.
