The cozy vibes, fall hues, and all the throw blankets make it a great time of year to add seasonal decor. So today I am sharing Fall 2021 home decor trends and examples of each with my own fall home decor finds and favorites.

Fall 2021 Home Decor Trends!
Fall Home Decor Finds and Favorites:
Trend 1: Candlestick holders
Candlesticks and candlestick holders are always a stable when it comes to winter and fall decor. But this year we are seeing not only an abundance of candlesticks during the fall season but we are seeing more unique shapes and designs as a big trend.
So don’t be afraid to go with a more unique one and try something new. And you can also play around with different shapes and colors for the candles themselves. There are lots of super cool taper candles (and other types) on Etsy if you want something different!
Here are a few great options if you are looking to add candlestick holders into your trendy fall decor:

Trend 2: Woven baskets
Baskets are a great fall decor trend because not only are they cute but they are useful! And they are a fantastic way to add texture to a space. You can even double up on the texture by rolling or styling blankets in the basket as well.
A lot of these baskets are also apart of collections and you can get 2 or 3 of them and style them all together. In front of a fireplace is a great place and with some neutral or navy (see the last trend!) throw blankets you can really create the perfect fall scene.

Trend 3: Neutral pumpkins
Pumpkins are a go to decor trend every single year for fall time. However, in 2021 we are keeping it clean and neutral with our pumpkins! For this fall the trend is to have neutral pumpkins and neutral pumpkin patterns.

Trend 4: Dried florals
Dried florals are a personal favorite trend for this fall season of mine!
There is so many options that can work with your personal style and they are a great subtle way to add fall touches throughout your home. Two of my favorite thing to do with fall died florals is on the fireplace mantel and on the kitchen island!

Trend 5: Lanterns
Lanterns are another favorite (okay I may be saying that about every trend this fall). I love that they can usually be used as decor outside or inside. Also, I plan on using lanterns for my wedding decor next year so I am constantly looking at new lanterns that come out. So I’m excited to share some of my favorite lantern finds that are trendy and so cute for this Fall 2021 decor season.
Also, I love that some of these have really unique shapes which is also a sub-trend within the lantern trend that we are seeing a lot of!

Trend 6: Mirrors
Mirrors are such a great use of wall space. They make your space look larger and they can serve as wall decor without adding a distracting art piece or photo to your walls.
And the trend of these darker modern mirrors for the fall is so cool! There are lots of affordable options for incorporating this trend into your home.

Trend 7: Navy throw blankets
Throw blankets are always necessary for creating a warm and cozy space. And this fall there is a super fun trend of adding navy throw blankets.
It is a small touch of color that works great with all of the other neutral and simple fall home decor trends of this year.
