How To Make More Time For The Things You Love:

Tip 1) Learn to plan out your days.

The first tip is really the easiest one- start learning to plan out your days.

The best way to do this is to get a planner like the Erin Condren Life Planner or the Me and My Big Ideas Happy Planner that you can plan out each week and day.

By planning out your tasks you will improve your chances of actually being able to plan time during your day for the activities that you love!

Start by just generally writing out your plan for the day and slowly figure out what elements of your day are the most important for you to focus on planning out.

Tip 2) Work on prioritizing your tasks.

The next tip for making time for your hobbies and passions is to work on prioritizing your tasks.

It is so important in general to learn how to prioritize but if you are wanting to make sure you have the opportunity to do your hobbies and interests some days then you really need to learn to prioritize.

Tip 3) Pick what hobbies/interests you want to focus on.

The next tip is to narrow down the hobbies, interest, passions you mainly want to focus on.

If you are someone who just has a few passions then you don’t have to worry about this.

But if you are a jack of all trades type of person then you may need to try to hone in on a few interests. This will make it easier and more manageable to really carve out slots during the days for your true passions and interests.

Tip 4) Work on saying no to things you don’t love.

This is another tip that is so essential for making time for what you want to do but can be very difficult.

If you are saying yes to every social event that you are invited to even if you don’t really want to go you can quickly run out of time for what you actually want to do.

But saying no in a kind way can be difficult! So I have a whole post about this and tips for saying no here: Learn to Prioritize: Say No.

Then you can up it to 30 minutes twice a week and so forth until you are at a level that brings you joy! Being realistic and slowly making more time is truly necessary to start having the time for fun things!
