14 Unique Details To Add To Your Save The Dates!
Unique save the date details to check out:
1: Custom wax seals
These are such an elegant touch to add to your save the dates. It’s become decently common to add them to wedding invitations but it is unique and uncommon to add them to save the dates. And if you head over to Etsy you will find a ton of unique ones including really cool modern ones.
2: Save The Date stickers
These custom save the date stickers are so cute! You can also save a bit of money and get ones that aren’t custom and just say save the date too. Either way this is a fun and unique detail to add to the envelopes.
3: Return address stamp
Using a cool personalized stamp for your return address is not only a unique and fun touch but it can also save you a lot of time compared to hand writing all of them. And in my opinion it looks much more unique than printing your return address on the save the dates!
4: Curated postage stamps
This is one of the most unique save the date details I have ever seen! There are super talented shops online who will custom curate a package of vintage stamps for all of your save the dates which is amazing.
5: Wedding hashtag stamp
This is such a cool element to add to your save the dates. You could put it on the envelope or if the back of your save the date is empty you could add it there which is such a unique and super modern touch.
6: Ribbon
Elevate your save the dates by tying a ribbon around them that matches the colors of your wedding. This touch can really set the mood for your wedding in the minds of your guests.
7: Save the date magnet
Adding a magnet to your save the date if it is a traditional paper one is such a helpful and unique touch. That way your guests can keep your date conveniently on their fridge.
8: Vellum envelope
This is a bit pricy to add to all of your save the dates but it is so unique and cool. Adding this inside your normal envelope and even adding a stamp to it is such an awesome save the date detail.
9: Custom envelope liner
This is such a cool way to really elevate your envelopes and a great way to include your engagement pictures if you wanted a more minimalist save the date itself. There are also lots of different patterned and floral liners you can shop on Etsy too if you don’t want a photo one!
10: Handmade paper envelopes
Talk about a first impression! Having hand crafted envelopes for your save the dates is a unique and amazing first impression for your wedding.
11: Custom embosser
This is another touch to the envelope that is unique and so cool. This is one we did and I loved the way it turned out and we got so many compliments on it! There are also ones out there that you can get with just your names and without your wedding date so you could use it in the future for things like holiday cards.
12: Vellum jacket
This is such a cool touch to add and you can even shut it with a wax seal (including a custom one or one that says save the date) or with a belly band! There are also ones with designs on them out there that you could check out!
13: Invitation pocket
These aren’t just for invitations! You can use a cute pocket like this (and they are affordable!) to add a touch with one of your wedding colors.
14: Save the date confetti
These are very extra and I am here for it! Adding some save the date confetti (and they are bigger pieces so they won’t get everywhere) is incredible. These have your initials and date on them- can you imagine opening up a save the date with these in them? Amazing!
