Lynd’s Fruit Farm – Columbus, Ohio Guide
Fall is HERE and finally the weather has decided to match the time of the year. And what does fall weather mean? It means all the fun fall activities! And my favorite fall activity here in Columbus, Ohio is heading over to Lynd’s fruit farm!
Apple picking is up there as one of my favorite activities and if you are local to Columbus then you have an awesome fruit farm close to you. Lynd’s Fruit Farm located in Pataskala Ohio.
The quality and apple quantity at Lynd’s is why it is my favorite place to pick apples in Columbus. They are also great for shopping at their market including getting Christmas presents. This is must-do activity for families or couples looking for a cute date day!
General Information on Lynd’s Fruit Farm
Address: 9399 Morse Road SW, Pataskala, OH 43062
Hours: Market 9-7 (opens July 10),
Apple Picking: weekends only (Sept.- Oct.)
Apple Picking Information
Costs: $15 for the small bag (featured above) and $30 for the larger bag. For a household of 2 the small bag is plenty but I would recommend moving up to the large bag for a family.
Apple Types: The types of apples go in and out of season so if you are looking for a specific type of apples then make sure to check their calendar online to make sure you go over the right time period.
Hours: The U-Pick for apples is open on weekends in September and October from 9am – 6m but they will close for bad weather so if it looks like rain I would advise calling ahead to make sure they are open.
*You have to drive past the market to get to the U-pick apple section. There is signs but pay attention! You will be asked at the beginning what size bag and then pay as you are leaving. They do accept credit cards!
The Market Information
You have to stop by the market if you come for apple picking or other activities!
From fresh produce to baked goods to gifts they have something for everyone. I personally love the “specialty” items the most. The salsa and barbecue sauces are amazing and the Amish Fry Pies are seriously one of my favorite treats ever ( I always go for the Buckeye flavor, chocolate and peanut butter? YUM).
Hours:Â July 10th – Oct 27th from 9am – 7pm and From Oct 28th – Dec 15th from 10am – 5pm.
Also the homemade cider is fantastic! We finish it within a couple days so if you don’t live close then grab a couple extra bottles.
Apple- Mania Maze Information
Costs: $11 for the Corn Maze and the “fun zone” is included in this cost for kids. The corn maze is also where the wagon rides are located at just $3 a ride.

Hours: Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from September 6th – October 30th.
Friday and Saturday from 10am – 10pm
Sunday from 10am – 6pm.
Blue Frog Farm Information
What is this? : where the U-pick happens in the summer for berries and peaches. Lynd fruit farm doesn’t just provide great activities in the fall time – they also have berries and peaches to pick in the summer as well!
Location: 5499 Sportsman Club Rd. in Johnstown OH
