The Perfect Fall Couple’s Bucket List Ideas
Autumn date ideas:
1: Go to a pumpkin patch and compete to see who finds the best pumpkin!
This is also the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time together in the perfect chilly fall weather and drink some warm apple cider.
2: Make a blanket fort and watch scary movies.
Stay inside, get cozy, and keep each other safe from whatever is scary on the screen. Bonus points if you make some yummy soup to keep you warm on the inside too.
3: Go to a local Oktoberfest celebration.
We LOVE a good Oktoberfest celebration- the energy, the drinks, the FOOD! It’s a built in total date with all the entertainment and fun vibes just already there for you. It’s a really fun one to double date with as well so invite your favorite couple friends and make a fun day of it!
4: Take an afternoon off and go on a corn maze date.
Get lost in the corn maze and enjoy some yummy apple donuts afterwards to celebrate.
5: Take a cute hayride (usually there is one at pumpkin patches).
Love the vibes of hayrides and getting to hang out with your partner in a fun and different than normal situation is always a good time.
6: DIY a matching couples costume for Halloween.
Get crafty together!! Or while one of you crafts and the other cheers you on and brings you drinks lol 😉
Peep our family halloween costume last year-
7: Take a trip to a Farmers Market and get some local fall favorites!
Love, love LOVE a fall farmers market. Local jams and jellies. Fresh cider. Local produce that is so much yummier than what you’ll get at the grocery store. Often there is also markets focused on autumn themed goods in addition to just produce/food items too. Perfect to get your holiday shopping started too.
8: Make pumpkin pies together.
Get some baking practice in and make a yummy homemade pumpkin pie. Or any pie of your choosing. In my opinion pies absolutely thrive in the autumn season and baking together brings you closer together I swear!
9: Go apple picking- and then make lots of apple pies and cobblers.
Apple picking is the ultimate fall date!! It’s picture worthy, a fun time and gives alllll the fall vibes.
10: Take a scenic hike to appreciate the Fall Foliage.
A scenic hike is not only great exercise but also the perfect excuse to see the beautiful autumn trees and check out the gorgeous colors they produce.
11: Have a bonfire and roast s’mores!
Make the most of the perfectly chilly evenings and have a bonfire and roast some s’mores to really complete the fall days.
12: Make your own hard apple cider
This doesn’t have to be that hard (hint hint here’s a kit!).
Of course this is for those couples 21+ only 😉
13: Do a stay-cation at a local bed and breakfast.
No need to break the bank for a fall break- check out a local bed and breakfast *cue the Gilmore girls again* and spend time being a tourist in your own city.
14: Cook a Thanksgiving feast together!
Work on your cooking skills and celebrate with family and/or friends with a yummy meal you two made together.
15: Support a local brewery and try their Fall beers (I love a good pumpkin ale!).
Living in two of the biggest brewery cities in America has definitely made me a little biased but I love a good brewery on a crisp fall day. Plus pumpkin and apple beers are extra delicious.
16: Make your own fall scented candles
Another way to spend time together and flex your crafty muscles is a fall candle night- try this kit.
17: Do a couples fall photo shoot.
Get pictures that will last a lifetime and have fun getting dressed up and enjoying some fall weather outside together at a couple fall photo shoot.
18: Make some Fall home decor, like a wreath for the door.
Another diy idea is to make some fall decor like wreaths- or head over to Pinterest and get some inspo that speaks to you!
19: Decorate and make candy apples together.
Tasty AND fun aka the perfect addition to your fall couples bucket list.
20: Have a board game night just the two of you.
Board games are cozy and fun and perfect for an evening hiding inside to stay cozy and warm!
21: Tailgate your favorite college football team
Maybe I am biased here too but we LOVE college football season. And if you relate then make it a priority to tailgate or go to a game this season if you can!!
Go Buckeyes BTW!
22: Decorate your home together for Halloween.
An afternoon spent with a cozy playlist going and decorating your space for halloween/fall is a perfect day!
23: Do a spooky Escape Room date night!
Get out and experience an escape room- a lot of locations do specials for halloween that are extra spooky and perfect for halloween season.
24: Hand out candy on Halloween night to the cute trick and treaters.
Last but certainly not least- dress up on halloween and hand out candy to the cute lil kids!
Fall is such a romantic time to spend time with your loved one! Embrace the chilly weather and make this fall a great time to bond with your significant other. But that is all for now my friends. I hope you are making the most of this autumn season together.
